Samastha AP faction to set up private university of Rs 100 crore

KOZHIKODE: Samastha AP section has come forward with Rs 100 crore plan to start a private university in Kozhikode. The decision was taken at the Mushavara meeting held in Kozhikode. The main educational activities under the movement will be coordinated under the university. The first phase of the Rs 100 crore plan will raise Rs 50 crore. The university will come into existence with emphasis on history and language studies.

The Samastha AP section also informed that other modern technical subjects will also be introduced as subjects. Modernization of traditional education and a special research department in the field of medicine will be started. Samastha has decided to immediately start the preliminary work required to start the university.
