
KOLLAM: Two migrant workers who were on board the fishing boat from Kollam that collided with a Vietnamese vessel, have not yet been found. The boat, St Joseph owned by Rajesh Mathew of Shakthikulangara had gone fishing on Friday with 11 workers on board.
The Vietnamese vessel immediately initiated rescue operations and managed to save nine fishermen. However, two workers drowned in the sea. The boat was carrying natives of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The accident happened 120 nautical miles away from Shakthikulangara harbour.
