Second rape case against Rahul; woman files complaint with friend’s help, police collect details

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have got more information about the woman who filed a second rape complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil MLA. The special investigation team has decided to record the statement of the woman, who is in Karnataka. The woman filed the complaint to KPCC with the help of a friend. The prosecution will submit the FIR in this case in the court today.

The woman has levelled serious allegations against Rahul in her complaint. She had revealed that she had to face severe physical abuse from Rahul. The woman said that he forcibly raped her after inviting her to discuss about their future including marriage. The woman said that after raping her, he asked her to change her clothes and without any remorse, asked her to leave the place at the earliest.

The woman also stated in her complaint that Rahul is a sexual predator who misuses his political power to cheat girls. The woman said that when she presented the matter to her family, they did not agree, but when he became the state president of the Youth Congress, her family agreed. When she told him that her family agreed, Rahul responded that he would bring his family. Later, when she came home, he took her in his friend's vehicle, saying that he wanted to meet her in person.

She was taken to a place outside the city in the vehicle of his friend Feni Nainan. The woman said that he dropped her at her home later. The woman said that after raping her, he said that he is not planning to marry anyone and that it is not good for his future in politics.
