PATHANAMTHITTA: CPM representatives severely criticized Kerala police for mollycoddling the BJP in the state. The harsh criticism came at the party conference in Pathanamthitta.
On Police:
“The party workers are not getting any benefits from the government system. If CPM workers reach the police station for any case, the cell is assured for them. If it is BJP workers, the police will take a servile attitude. “
On G Sudhakaran:
“Senior leader G Sudhakaran’s words were out of place and harmed party in recent times. Sudhakaran is trying to seek attention in his sunset years. The party should warn the leader to not cross a boundary to spill gibberish.”
On EP Jayarajan:
“EP Jayarajan meeting BJP leader Javadekar is not a big issue. But the party should enquire about his dealings with dubious figure Dallal Nandakumar. What is the need for EP to make close contact with such a tainted man?”
It is indicated that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan may reach the conference later today. He will directly participate in the discussions to select the new district secretary.
