Several people injured after buses collide in Thrissur; driver in critical condition

THRISSUR: A KSRTC bus and a private bus collided at Uduvadi in Chelakkara. The accident involved a KSRTC bus operating on the Thrissur–Kottayam route and a private bus named Manamel operating on the Shoranur–Chelakkara route.

The crash occurred at around 8 am today. Both drivers sustained serious injuries. The KSRTC driver had to be rescued by cutting open the cabin. Several passengers were also injured. They have been admitted to Chelakkara Government Taluk Hospital, the Medical College, and a private hospital in Chelakkara.
