Shawl gets caught in belt of rice milling machine; tragic death for flour mill employee

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman died after her shawl got tangled. Karette Pulimath native Beena (44) died. The tragic incident took place at the Arudiyil Flour Mill in Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram. The accident occurred around 3:30 pm. The accident occurred when Beena's shawl got tangled in the belt of the rice milling machine while she was powdering rice. Beena, who suffered serious head injuries, was taken to a private hospital in Venjaramoodu and then to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, but her life could not be saved.
