Dismembered body found scattered; Huge bomb explosion reported in Kannur, houses destroyed

KANNUR: A person died in a fatal bomb explosion in a house in Keezhara Kannapuram in Kannur. The incident took place in a house owned by Keezhara Govindan. The house was rented to tenants.

The explosion took place at around 2 am today. It is reported that the human body parts were found scattered around the house. After receiving information about the accident, the Kannapuram police inspected the spot. The fire force team also reached the spot. Police believe that the accident occurred during bomb making. Unexploded homemade bombs were found in the house. The bomb squad is also inspecting the accident site.

It is reported that the house was occupied by people running a spare parts shop in Payyannur. Locals barely know about the people who lived in the house. Two people lived in the house. They usually arrive at night and leave early in the morning. Locals say that a man named Anoop lived here. The impact of the explosion also caused damage to nearby houses. The doors of several houses were broken, and cracks appeared in the walls.
