She got intimate with IB official at time of training; says IB officer Megha’s father

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is mystery in the death of IB officer Megha, said her father Madhusoodanan. While talking to a media, he said there is no railway track from the airport to her residence and why she went there is being suspected.

Megha was intimate with an IB officer at the time of her training. She had told us about the relationship. It has been only 13 months since she got the job. He demanded an investigation on the last person she was talking to.

Her relatives had earlier said that she was in love with an IB officer from Malappuram. Megha had told her family about this relationship. The family initially opposed the relationship but later agreed. However, it is heard that the IB officer later withdrew from the relationship.

Megha's body was found on the track between Pettah and Chakkai at 9.15 am yesterday morning. On being informed, the Pettah police reached the spot and identified her after getting her ID card from the spot. Megha left the airport yesterday morning after night duty. She was fatally knocked down by the Jayanthi Janatha Express to Thiruvananthapuram.
