Sivagiri all set for another pilgrimage season; Aswathy Thirunal Gowri Lakshmi Bayi to inaugurate

SIVAGIRI: The 93rd Sivagiri pilgrimage season will begin today. The Thiru Avathara Muhurta prayer will be held at the resting place of Gurudeva from 5 am. At 10 am, Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust former treasurer Swami Parananda will light the ‘Bhadradeepam’ in a specially prepared pavilion near the Guru Pooja Hall. Then, under the chairmanship of Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust President Swami Sachidananda, Aswathy Thirunal Gowri Lakshmi Bayi will inaugurate the pilgrimage season.

Dharma Sangham General Secretary Swami Shubhangananda, Trust Treasurer and Pilgrimage Committee Secretary Swami Saradananda, Dharma Sangham Former General Secretary Swami Rithambharananda and others will deliver benediction speeches. Sree Narayana Samskriti Samiti State President Ratheesh J. Babu will be the chief guest. Adoor Prakash MP, Adv. V. Joy MLA, SNDP Yogam Sivagiri Union President Jayaprakash Kallambalam, Secretary Aji SRM, Former MLA Varkala Kahar, and KM Laji will deliver speeches.

Guru Dharma Pracharana Sabha Secretary, Swami Asanganandagiri, will deliver the welcome speech, and Pilgrimage Committee Joint Secretary, Swami Virajanandagiri, will deliver the vote of thanks. Charitable workers Aravind S. Kumar, Madhusudhanan G. Madhumandiram and Hariharan will be honoured at the conference. Lectures and seminars on various topics will continue until the 29th. The Mahatheerthadanam will be held on the 30th, 31st and January 1, 2026.
