Six-year-old boy falls from father's vehicle, dies in tragic accident in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A six-year-old boy died tragically after falling from his father’s vehicle and being run over by the wheels of the same vehicle. Muhammad Haisin, son of Haneefa, native of Kothachira Puthen Peedika, died in the incident.

Haisin, who was travelling with his father in the driver's seat of a goods autorickshaw, opened the door of the vehicle unknowingly and fell out. The wheel of the same vehicle ran over the child's body. The accident occurred at Alikkara, Chalissery, at around 9.45 am today. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Perumpilavu, but his life could not be saved.

Chalissery police have taken further action. The body will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem at Thrissur Medical College.
