Special father-son bond; Death news on Dhyan's birthday

KOCHI: Veteran actor Sreenivasan died today morning after developing discomfort while being taken for dialysis in a Kochi hospital. Sreenivasan's younger son, Dhyan, was not in town at the time of the death. Dhyan, his wife and child lived in Kochi along with Sreenivasan and family. The father-son duo shared a special bond. Moreover, today was Dhyan’s 37th birthday. Dhyan was inconsolable by the time he reached the residence after learning about the death news.

Sreenivasan is known for spilling opinions forthrightly without any fear. Dhyan has imbued his father's quality in all its essence. Dhyan, like Sreenivasan, dares to speak out about what he feels right, no matter who it is against.

Sreenivasan was formerly a harsh critic of actor Mohanlal and wasted no opportunity to fire salvos at the actor. Dhyan had recently corrected his father and revealed how Sreenivasan visited Mohanlal on a film set recently and apologised for his former criticism.

Sreenivasan enjoyed watching Dhyan talking, and in a recent interview, he made this clear. Whenever Dhyan started his inimitable sardonic talks, Sreenivasan used to burst out laughing. Sreenivasan also played a role in Dhyan's directorial 'Love Action Drama.'
