Stray dog enters house in Thrissur, mauls bedridden woman to death

THRISSUR: In a shocking incident, an elderly bedridden woman was killed after being attacked by a stray dog in Erumapetty.The victim has been identified as Karthyayani, aged 84.

The incident happened around 6 pm on Thursday. According to reports, the stray dog entered the house and attacked the elderly woman, who was bedridden, leading to her death.

Karthyayani’s son, a 60-year-old man with a disability, was also bitten by the dog during the attack. The dog is also reported to have bitten other dogs in the area. Meanwhile, the stray dog has not yet been captured.
