Student sustains serious injuries after falling from bus

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A plus two student fell from a running KSRTC bus and sustained serious injuries. The incident happened at Kattakkada in Thiruvananthapuram. Sandeep, a plus two student of Thirumala AMH School, fell out from the bus. Sandeep was seriously injured in the accident. He sustained injuries on his fingers, hip and left hand.

The incident happened Friday morning at 8.35 am. When the speeding bus reached near the bridge, it fell into the gutter on the road. The door of the bus then opened and Sandeep fell out. The bus did not stop even after Sandeep fell down. The bus stopped after the passengers created a ruckus after moving forwards for 750 meters. The passengers then rushed Sandeep to a private hospital in Kattakkada. The accident happened when the bus fell into the gutter between Anthiyoorkonam Junction and Anthiyoorkonam Bridge.
