THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A major error has been discovered in a handbook meant to help teachers teach students. The fourth-grade handbook controversially stated that Subhash Chandra Bose fled India because he was afraid of the British. The SCERT authorities noticed this and have corrected it twice.
The first time, they removed the word “afraid” and also corrected the word “fled.” The current version now states that Bose went to Germany due to the political circumstances during World War II. SCERT may conduct an investigation regarding this issue.
