Suicide of youth in Palakkad; Family says loan app threat led to death

PALAKKAD: The family alleged that the suicide of a 37-year-old youth in Menonpara was due to the threats related to a loan app. The family has filed a police complaint on the death of Ajeesh of Menonpara. The family alleged that the threats continued even after he paid back the excess amount with interest.

The complaint says Ajeesh borrowed money from a loan app Rubik Money. His relatives said that after the repayment was delayed, he received threats from an unknown number. Relatives also alleged that they threatened to circulate his morphed images. Ajeesh's brother said that he committed suicide on Monday after disappointed over this.
