THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More details have emerged in the murder of a married woman in Neyyattinkara. Vishnunath (36), who lives near Vlathankara RC Church, stabbed his wife Alma (33) to death. The incident took place at around 9 am today. The accused was taken into custody by the Parassala police. The couple have no children.

After committing the crime, Vishnu rushed to his lawyer brother’s house and confessed. Vishnu is a teacher at the PSC Training Centre. The two married nine years ago after dating for a long time. Neighbours are shocked as they revealed not to have witnessed any kind of quarrel between the couple ever. Vishnu went to his brother's house this morning, saying that he had killed his wife.

Vishnu's brother informed Parassala police about the news. When the officials arrived, they saw Alma lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom. It is reported that she was stabbed in the back of the neck. The police doubt family disputes to be behind the murder. No one else was at home at the time of the incident.
