KOTTAYAM: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been harshly criticized for accepting the invitation to the all-party delegation formed by the Center. KPCC disciplinary committee chairman Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has come forward criticizing Tharoor. The delegation, led by Tharoor, has been assigned to visit foreign countries to explain Pakistan's cross-border terrorism and the background of India's Operation Sindoor against it.

‘As a member of the Congress Parliamentary Party, Tharoor should inform the party everything. Tharoor should not move forward after criticizing the party. He can work in the international arena, but should not undermine the party he presently represents. Tharoor should understand all these things. He should fulfill his primary responsibilities as a member of the Congress party. He should also get the party's approval while working at international levels. He should prioritize his duties as a member of the parliamentary party,' said Thiruvanchoor.

Shashi Tharoor responded that he proudly accepts the invitation to the all-party delegation formed by the Center. Tharoor responded through social media that he proudly accepted the invitation because it is a matter of national interest and because his services are needed. The Center is sending eight teams of five or six members each to countries like the US, UK, Japan, South Africa, Qatar, UAE. An official from the Ministry of External Affairs and a government representative will be with him.
