SIVAGIRI: Sivagiri Mutt's stand is that there is nothing wrong with women entering Sabarimala and that Nitya Chaitanya Yathi has pointed this out earlier, said Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust President Swami Satchidananda. He was presiding over a conference held with the 'organisation', one of the goals of the pilgrimage, in mind.

"Unethical practices and superstitions still exist in Kerala. A woman was considered untouchable and made to stand away when she washed her feet in the pond of the Guruvayur temple. This tendency should be corrected. Yesudas is still not allowed in Guruvayur. In fact, there is no better Hindu than Yesudas. It is a big mistake made by Keralites and the political parties here to give Guru the mask of a community and isolate him. Sree Narayana religion is that all humans are one," said Swami Sachidananda.
