Thiruvananthapuram district panchayat members take oath and assume office

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The new administrative committee of Thiruvananthapuram district panchayat took the oath and assumed office. District panchayat returning officer and district collector Anu Kumari administered the oath to senior member B P Murali, who won from Navaikulam division. Deputy returning officer ADM Vineeth T K also attended. B P Murali then administered the oath to other members.

Adarsh Elakamon (Elakamon) Deepa Anil (Kilimanoor), Sudhirsha (Kallara) P V Rajesh (Venjaramoodu), J Yahiya (Anad), Dr K R Shaiju (Palode), Pradeep Narayan (Aryanad), L P Maya Devi (Vellanad), Gopu Neyyar (Poovachal), Ani Prasad J P (Ottashekaramangalam), Athira Grace (Vellarada), I Vijaya Raji (Kunnathukal), S K Bendarwin (Parassala), C R Pran Kumar (Mariapuram), Freeda Simon (Kanjiramkulam), Anjitha Vinod Kottukal (Balaramapuram), Agnes Vani (Venganoor), Shobhana V (Pallichal), Suresh Babu S (Malayinkeezhu), R Preetha (Karakulam), Karthika S (Pothancode), Mahani Jaseem (Kaniyapuram), Mini Jayachandran (Murukkumpuzha), Sajith Muttappalam (Kizhuvilam), Sheela S (Chirayinkeezhu), Nabeel Noushad (Manambur), V Priyadarshini (Kallambalam) took oath.

Most of the members took oath in the name of God. MLAs V Joy, D K Murali, former district panchayat president D Suresh Kumar and others participated. The first meeting of the newly elected members was held.
