Thousands in attendance for MLA Anvar's Nilambur rally

MALAPPURAM: MLA PV Anvar, after his rebellion from LDF, kick-started his first big public address in Nilambur town on Sunday. Adding more worries to the CPM, thousands flocked in to hear Anvar speak at the event. The welcome speech was delivered by former CPM local secretary E A Suku. All eyes are keen on the event as Anvar has given a sly hint about revealing his future political plans.

“How the party treated Anvar is unacceptable. No common party worker would approve of the treatment meted out at Anvar” said Suku in his welcome speech.

Suku:

“He considered CM Pinarayi Vijayan a father figure. Pinarayi vehemently spoke against the atrocities against minorities in the country and is arguably the strongest CPM leader in India. Despite Anvar giving him all the evidence, CM turned against Anvar and tried to wipe him out of Kerala's political landscape.

Death threats are coming against Anvar. If they adopt such drastic measures, the local comrades would shield Anvar. He is the pride of the Left Front in Nilambur. Pinarayi Vijayan’s first term saw days of ideal governance. But it is not the same now. He has lost his sheen."

Meanwhile, PV Anvar had earlier revealed that evidence of some of the allegations made by him will be displayed in today's political meeting.
