Tiger presence: Prohibitory order declared in four places in Wayanad

KALPETTA: Curfew has been declared in four places in Wayanad as the man-eating tiger has not yet been caught. The curfew has been declared for 48 hours from 6 am tomorrow in areas where man-eating tiger showed its presence. Restrictions will be imposed in Pancharakolly,​ Upper Cherakkara,​ Pilakkavu Moonu road area,​ and Maniyamkunnu areas.

Travel restrictions will be imposed in the areas where curfew has been imposed. The authorities have instructed people not to go out and shops to remain closed. Transport facilities will be arranged for students who have to go for exams. The authorities have informed that councilors should be contacted for this.
