Traces of chilli powder found on road in Kochi

KOCHI: Chilli powder were found strewn all over the Kalamassery road. The passengers had a tough time as the traces of the powder spread in the air. The fire force arrived and cleaned the road. It is believed that chilli powder packets from a goods vehicle may have fallen on the road and opened, spreading throughout the area in the wind.
The incident was at peek time. Two-wheeler passengers were the most affected. The traces fell on their eyes, causing an irritation. Even after washing their faces and eyes, thy had a burning sensation. Many had a narrow escape from it. Bus and car passengers were also affected by the chilli powder.
