THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The national investigation agency touched down in Kozhikode to look into the train fire incident that shocked Kerala. The officials are fearing a terrorist angle to the incident as the culprit went lost after the incident leaving no clue of his whereabouts. Preliminary findings reveal him as a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh. The state police chief Anil Kant made an optimistic remark saying an arrest will happen anytime.

NIA intelligence bureau and RAW officials are running a parallel investigation into the case. After the home ministry directions, four members of the NIA flew down to Kozhikode to read the details and make a quick walk to the location. If the officials find any shred of terrorism angle, the case will be taken away from the Kerala police.

Meanwhile, three people who jumped from the train fearing fire died in the fall. Late into the night, their body was found near the Korapuzha bridge lying abandoned on the tracks. Rasik a neighbor of the dead three revealed the details to the Kondotty railway police when the train halted there. The search was made fast and three bodies including one of two-year-old Sahra were found.
