29/07/2025: Kannur, Kasaragod
30/07/2025: Kannur, Kasaragod

The IMD has issued a yellow alert in the following districts. The possibility of isolated heavy rain is predicted. Heavy rainfall is defined as rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.

Due to the heavy rainfall in Pathanamthitta and Kottayam and the increase in the inflow of water from the east, almost all schools and public roads in Kuttanad taluk are waterlogged, and therefore all educational institutions including professional colleges, Anganwadis and tuition centres have been declared closed in Kuttanad today. However, there will be no change in the scheduled exams.
