Huge drug bust in Palakkad; Ancy KV, Noora Tasni and Muhammed Swalih arrested

PALAKKAD: Two women and a man were arrested by the police with 53.950 grams of methamphetamine during an inspection conducted as part of Operation D Hunt. Ancy KV, a native of Onchiyam, Kozhikode, and Noora Tasni and Muhammed Swalih, natives of Morayur, Malappuram, were arrested. The accused were arrested from Mundur Poriyani, Palakkad by the Narcotics Cell and the police. Ancy was arrested with MDMA last year. She was arrested again in the drug case after being released on bail in the previous case.

Noora and Swalih had come to buy drugs from Ancy. The accused were travelling in an Innova car at the time of their arrest. This car has also been taken into custody by the police. The police have received information about more accused from examining Ancy's financial transactions. The police have also checked Ancy's Google Pay, Phone Pay and bank accounts. It is also known that Ancy brought drugs to Kerala from Bengaluru.

The inspection was conducted under the leadership of Mannarkkad DySP Santosh Kumar and Palakkad Narcotics Cell DySP Abdul Muneer on the instructions of Palakkad District Police Chief Ajith Kumar.
