Two found dead inside parked caravan in Vadakara

KOZHIKODE: Two people were found dead inside a caravan parked on the roadside at Vadakara Karimbanapalam. The dead bodies were found in the front and rear of the vehicle. The deceased have been identified as Manoj, a native of Malappuram Wandoor Vaniyambalam, and Joel, a native of Kannur Parassery.

The vehicle had been parked on the roadside since morning. The locals turned suspicious of the vehicle not moving from the spot even at night. Some locals then entered inside the caravan, only to find two dead bodies. According to police, the two were returning after dropping people for a wedding in Kannur.

Police concluded that the death happened only after the vehicle was safely parked on the roadside. Manoj was a driver of the Caravan Tourism Company in Ponnani. There is suspicion that an AC gas leak resulted in the tragic incident. Joel is an employee of the same company. The police have reached the spot and are conducting further investigations.
