Two youths killed in lorry-car collision in Cherthala

ALAPPUZHA: Two youths were killed in a collision between a car and a tipper lorry in Cherthala’s Muttathiparambu. The dead have been identified as Aarav Krishna (24) of Vayalar and Nandagopal (22) of Thanneermukkom. The accident happened late last night at Pallikavala on the 11th Mile- Muttathiparambu Road. When the car swerved to avoid hitting the lorry, it hit the lorry and a nearby wall. The car was completely destroyed. The fire brigade from Cherthala arrived and cut the car and pulled the two out. The two were engaged in the artistic floral decoration of temples.
