Two youths killed in Thrissur as car rams into tree

THRISSUR: Two youths were killed after their car hit a tree at Vanchipura in Kaipamangalam. Four sustained injuries. The accident happened Thursday early morning at 1.15 am on the Madanikulam Vanchipura road. There were seven in the car. Abdul Haseeb (19), son of Mohammad and Harris (19), son of Kunungal Abdul Razak, natives of Pallithanam, are the two killed in the accident.

The accident happened while they were returning after seeing the programmes organized as part of the celebrations of Nabi dinam at Chalingad. The car losing control rammed into a tree on the roadside. Though the injured were rushed to a hospital in Kodungalloor, the lives of two cannot be saved. Abhaya Krishna, Anandu, Arjun, natives of Valappad and Vishnu of Kaipamangalam are those injured.
