Water supply to be affected in parts of Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow; Water Authority with warning

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The operation of the four water treatment plants of the Water Authority in Aruvikkara was disrupted for two hours due to a power outage. As of now, the power connection has been restored, and the plants have started functioning normally.

However, due to the plant being out of operation for two hours, there is a possibility of disruption in the drinking water supply in the higher areas of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation on March 20 and 21. The Water Authority advised consumers to take necessary precautions.
