KOLLAM: Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar responded to the allegations that have surfaced against him involving marital discord. Ganesh Kumar denied the allegations and blamed the Congress for using propaganda in cyberspace as a last-ditch attempt to defeat him in the upcoming elections. Ganesh said that it was not NSS members who protested against him in Pattazhy, but Congress activists.
Ganesh Kumar:
“If there is any question regarding my love affairs, I will be very open. I have several affairs. I am very honest with people, and I regard that quality as my success. Many people love me, too.
ON NSS PROTEST:
NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair has been a father figure for me since my father’s death. It was under his advice that I took up work in Pathanapuram taluk. NSS is not an organisation that will conduct a protest in the wake of the election.
ALLEGATIONS:
My personal life is mine. The people of Pathanapuram know me well like the back of their hand. There was a belief that no candidate would win more than two times in Pathanampuram. I broke that jinx by winning five times. Even at the height of far worse controversies, I emerged as the winning candidate. The people of Pathanapuram even know my X-ray. Take my word, this time too, I will be winning the seat with a record margin.
There are news reports that R Sreelekha suggested my wife call 112 of the police commissioner to register a case against me. Anyone with a deranged mind can call 112. It is not a big deal. Who is Sreelekha, after all, to interfere in my personal life? She is running amok in jealousy over missing the Mayor post in Thiruvananthapuram.”
