Woman dies after jackfruit falls on head while washing clothes in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A woman died after a jackfruit fell on her head. The dead is Mini (53) of Thirichilangadi Unniyalungal Kolenchery in Kozhikode. A jackfruit unexpectedly fell on her body while she was washing clothes at home last Thursday.


Mini soon fell unconscious and was immediately admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. Mini, who suffered a spinal injury, died while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit. She leaves behind her husband Palakot Unnikrishnan and children Nikesh and Nishanth.
