Woman dies after lorry hits car on way to drop son at tuition class 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman died after a lorry hit her car while she was going to drop her son at the tuition class. The incident happened near Thottakad Bridge in Attingal. The dead is Meena (40) of Thottakad. Her son Abhimanyu, a ninth-class student, who was with her sustained injuries in the accident. The incident happened Monday morning on the national highway.

Meena and her son, who were coming in the car took a U-turn near the Thottakad Bridge. A lorry which came that way suddenly hit their car. Last month also accidents had happened in the same way. A pickup van had overturned after a car hit other vehicles. However, no one had lost their lives then.
