Woman found hanging at husband's house in Kozhikode; body found in kitchen

KOZHIKODE: A woman was found hanging at her husband's house in Kuttiady. The deceased has been identified as Sheeba (43), a native of Pattarkulangara. The incident took place at around 11 pm on Tuesday. The body was found hanging from the window at the back of the kitchen of the house. It was a neighbour who saw the body first.

Although she was rushed to the Kuttiady Taluk Hospital, her life could not be saved. The body was handed over to the relatives after a postmortem at Kozhikode Medical College. The police are investigating the cause of the woman's death. Sheeba's husband is Sasi, a native of Kuttiady. Children: Aswathy and Akshay.
