Woman under treatment for overdose of medicines ends life

KANNUR: A woman admitted at the Pariyaram Government Medical College for consuming overdose of medicines, has committed suicide. She has been identified as E K Leena (46) of Koothuparambu Kottayam Ezhaamile Padayangudi. She was admitted in the hospital the other day.

She was found hanging in the washroom Thursday morning in ward no 401 of the fourth floor. Leena, who entered the bathroom and did not come out after a long time, was found hanging in a search by the hospital authorities. She was immediately brought down, but by then, she had lost her life. She leaves behind her husband Santhosh Kumar and son Yadhunand.
