Youth dies after falling from private bus in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth met a tragic end after falling from a private bus on his way back after taking his five-month pregnant wife to the hospital. Devaraj (39) of Nagarur died. The incident happened around 2 pm yesterday.

The accident took place at Kadavila on the Kilimanoor-Alamcode road. Devaraj was returning after consulting his pregnant wife, Viji to the Chirayinkeezhu Taluk Hospital. As Devaraj was trying to get off, the bus suddenly moved forward. Then Devaraj fell on the road. He was immediately taken to Paripally Medical College Hospital but his life could not be saved.

The body has been kept at the Medical College Hospital. Cremation will be done after post-mortem. A case has been registered by Nagarur police in the incident.
