THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case, said M Sivasankar, former principal secretary to the chief minister, had married her. She said that she was Sivasankar's Parvathy. The marriage was held at the Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Chennai. Swapna alleged that Sivasankar applied sindoor also known as kumkum on her forehead and had promised that he will not desert her.

Swapna's revelation was in her autobiography 'Chathiyude Padmavyuham'. Allegations were levelled against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter Veena and former minister K T Jaleel. She revealed that she recorded the voice message that the government and its representatives had no role in the gold smuggling case so that the LDF could continue to come to power. Swapna said that she was made to record the audio making her believe that if the LDF does not come to power, the manner of the investigation will change and it was also her need that the LDF should come to power.

Swapna clarified that there are no sexual allegations against anyone. She added that only a prominent member of the assembly, a former minister and a regular visitor to the consulate, spoke with sexual interest in WhatsApp. She also stated that all phone records have been handed over to the investigation team.
