Actress Suparna Anand said that she had a bitter experience while shooting for a Malayalam film. In an interview to a media, she said that she left the film industry due to such bitter experiences.
The actress said that there were many kinds of pressure while acting in the film and she had to leave the film as she could not stand it. The actress also opined that actor Mukesh, the accused in the case of insulting womanhood, should resign his post. She added that it is ridiculous that Mukesh is continuing in the post despite a case being registered.
The silence of Mohanlal and Mammootty on the issue is surprising. The actress said the two superstars should show the courage to say that a mistake is a mistake. She also opined that the governing body of AMMA had to resign because of the failure.
There have been incidents like casting couch in the film industry since time immemorial. The actress also said that she appreciates the actors who had the courage to tell the names of people who harassed them.
