‘People who have helped in times of crisis will be helped in return'; Jacobite diocese indirectly supports LDF

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Jacobite Diocese has come forward indirectly supporting the Left Front in the Lok Sabha elections. Malankara Metropolitan Joseph Gregorius said in a message to the faithful that they have a responsibility to care for those who have helped them in times of crisis and help them in return. The chief minister had announced that he would protect the existence of the sabha at Puthenkurissu, and the Malankara Metropolitan clarified his stand pointing this.


In the message, the diocese clarified the assurance received from the LDF and their hope in resolving the church dispute. In the last assembly elections also, the Jacobites took a favorable stand for the Left Front. Discussions were held with the chief minister even during the visit of Patriarkis Bawa.
