KOZHIKODE: The woman's lawyer said the bride, the complainant in the Pantheerankavu domestic violence case, and the accused Rahul P Gopal, talked the issues and have reconciliated. Both approached me and asked what should be done next, said the lawyer.

'It was a decision taken by the two. The woman prepared and gave the affidavit on her own. Both approached me two weeks ago. Confirmed whether the affidavit was given on her own wish. They want to live together. They said that it was a small fight and things went out of their control.

They are very much in love. There are no issues between them. It is not correct to say that the woman did things under pressure. The woman said that she does not want to proceed with the case. The woman gave the vakalath directly. The woman said that she has no complaint and it was filed under the pressure of her family and people around her,' clarified the lawyer.

Meantime, Haridas of Paravur Maliyankara, the woman’s father alleged that Rahul’s threat is behind the disclosure of his daughter. Rahul is trying to escape after making her retract the statement. He also alleged that his daughter is in the custody of her in-laws.

The woman’s second video that surfaced Monday night said that she is safe and firm in her stand. Her affidavit filed on May 29th said the case against Rahul and his family is fake.
