THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP will visit 50 lakh households in Kerala and have direct communication with voters ahead of the local body elections. The state-level Griha Sambarka Yajna and fund-raising will begin on September 25. BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar will inaugurate the state-level Griha Sambarka Yajna at 4 pm on Thursday by visiting households in Rajaji Nagar in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city.
The BJP is reaching out to every household by highlighting the crises facing the state under the Left-Right Front rule and putting forward projects aimed at making the developed Kerala that the BJP is pushing forward a reality. The BJP is starting the two-week-long contact program with the slogan "What remains unchanged will change in the future."
The inaugural day of the Griha Sambarka Yajna will be led by former Union Minister V Muraleedharan in Kollam and State General Secretary Anoop Antony in Pathanamthitta. Shobha Surendran and Adv P Sudheer will participate in Alappuzha, Kummanam Rajasekharan in Kottayam, P.C. George in Idukki, and Adv S Suresh in Ernakulam. The initiative will be led by Padmaja Venugopal in Thrissur, P.K. Krishnadas in Palakkad, A.N. Radhakrishnan in Malappuram, former State President K. Surendran in Kozhikode, A.P. Abdullakutty in Wayanad, C.K. Padmanabhan in Kannur, and M.T. Ramesh in Kasaragod.
