KOZHIKODE: The Janadhipathya Rashtriya Party (JRP), led by tribal leader C.K. Janu, has walked out of the NDA. Janu said the decision was taken as the party faced continuous neglect within the front.
The decision was taken at the state committee meeting held in Kozhikode today. Janu said the party will stand independently for now, and discussions on cooperation with other political fronts will be considered later.
She also said that the party has directed its local units to strengthen organisational activities and begin preparations ahead of the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections.
