THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that BJP is raising the slogan 'Developed Kerala' in the local body elections and the subsequent assembly elections. He said that Developed Kerala is not just a slogan, but the mission and goal of BJP. Rajeev Chandrasekhar also said that BJP will organise protest programs in all district centres on May 26, when the Pinarayi government completes nine years. He was speaking to the media after the BJP State Core Committee and State Office Bearers meeting.
"The people want change. The people of Kerala will be informed about the development work done by the Narendra Modi government so far and what it will do next. What is being celebrated on the ninth anniversary of the state government? What has the Pinarayi government done for Kerala in the last nine years? The people will be convinced that Kerala has lost a decade.
"The CPM government's home department is a complete failure. A Dalit woman filed a complaint with the Chief Minister's office and nothing was done for 15 days. Even after filing a complaint with the Police Commissioner, nothing was done. While holding the celebration, the Chief Minister should examine what his home department did and what it did not do. The Developed Kerala convention held from April 21 to May 12 was an attempt to talk about BJP's vision of bringing development. The youth were the largest participants in the Developed Kerala program."
"The youth showed great enthusiasm to come along with BJP's vision and become partners. The Union Health Minister said in Parliament that the incentives of ASHA workers are going to be increased. That is a national policy. Let the state government increase the honorarium of ASHA workers. BJP will intervene and resolve the dispute with the central government," said Rajeev Chandrasekhar. State General Secretaries M T Ramesh and Adv. P Sudheer attended the function.
