THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: NCP National Working President Praful Patel's letter demanding the resignation of Minister AK Saseendran and Thomas K Thomas from their MLA posts ignited a big political debate in Kerala. Patel, in the letter, warned the MLAs of standing the chance of facing disciplinary action if they continue to prove allegiance towards NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.

However, MLA Thomas K Thomas responded, saying that he will continue with his unwavering support for the Sharad Pawar faction. Meanwhile, Saseendran said he will ignore the letter and doubted the NCP leader's power to disqualify the Kerala MLAs.
