KALPETTA: Navya Haridas, the NDA candidate of Wayanad Lok Sabha Constituency, has filed her nomination papers. She submitted her nomination papers before district collector Meghashree, the returning officer.
Navya expressed optimism about her candidacy and highlighted the need for political change in the area. She said that she is excited and happy that the party has offered her such a wonderful opportunity. The people here require a change in politics and so this time they are going to favour the BJP, she said. She attacked the previous MPs for not addressing any of the local issues.
Polayan Mooppan, the tribal head of Kalpetta Edaguni Colony, gave the money required to be deposited by the candidate. BJP former state president Kummanam Rajasekharan, state general secretary M T Ramesh, district president Prasanth Malavayal, state panel member Saji Sankar, P Sadanand, BDJS district president Mohanan Santhosh Kaliyath, K Sadanand, Santhakumari, mahila morcha leaders Sini Manoj, Shaima Ponnath, Sreevidya Rajesh, P Satyalakshmi, Rema Vijayan, Deepa Puzhakkal and many others accompanied her to file the nominations.
