KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan unjustified P P Divya’s act leading to the suicide of ADM Naveen Babu. In his reply speech at the CPM Kannur district meet, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said Divya’s behavior was unbecoming of a party member and that one should suffer the consequences of their own actions.

The chief minister had previously made it clear that P P Divya would not be protected and that strict action would be taken. The same stance was taken the other day as well. The CPM Kannur district conference report said the remarks of Divya at the ADM's farewell party cannot be justified. However, CPM District Secretary M V Jayarajan has come with an explanation regarding the news that Divya was criticized. M V Jayarajan said there is no change in the party's stand and that the words were misinterpreted.

'I only said that controversial speeches should have been avoided. There is a case alleging that Divya is behind the ADM's death. The police are investigating the case. ‘Spreading a misleading propaganda by distorting a sentence,’ said the leader. Jayarajan had said in the press meet that it was true that the last remark in Divya's speech led to the death of the ADM.
