'Play after knowing your opponent': Sudhakaran scoffs at Surendran's comment

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC President K Sudhakaran on Tuesday scoffed that those who heard K Surendran's blunder that my mind is with the BJP might not have stopped laughing. He added that this is good proof that Surendran is writing statements from the AKG Centre.

"Anyone who studies contemporary Kerala politics will understand that such statements are political rewards for keeping the Kodakara hawala case under wraps. My mind is with the people of Kerala. Surendran and Pinarayi's seats were largely lost in the by-elections to the local self-governing bodies held on November 9. Both of them lost miserably in Thrikkakara.", he said

"A huge crowd joined Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Both CPM and BJP are afraid of all this. Kerala has seen the Pinarayi-Surendran parties trying to defeat Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is aimed to awaken Indian conscience against the BJP's destructive politics. To save face from all this, Kerala is now witnessing a ball game played by both groups by ripping off some parts of my speeches. Surendran's offer to invite Congressmen to the BJP is dismissed with deserved contempt".

"Surendran, real Congressmen are not the ones who kneel down when they see ED. We are followers of Sonia and Rahul who didn't care for the ED."

"We have not invited Amit Shah to the Jawaharlal Nehru boat game to appease the BJP. We never sent government representatives to places where minorities are being hounded to study governance. We also didn't organize the Commie-Sangh alliance to defeat the fishermen of Vizhinjam."

"We didn't bow our heads to Narendra Modi in the meeting of Home Ministers. Pinarayi and his comrades are pro-Sangh people who did all this. Surendran, all I can say is that you should play after knowing the opponent. No living Congressman will go to the BJP. Even after his death, one such person's memory will continue to speak against the BJP.", Sudhakaran said.
