THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chief Minister responded to the criticism leveled against the government by Kerala Congress (B) Chairman KB Ganesh Kumar MLA in the last LDF Legislative Party meeting. The Chief Minister severely criticized the action of the MLA in the LDF legislature party meeting held today. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the issues should not be raised in a way that becomes news and asked if the development took place in Pathanapuram, Ganesh's constituency, without the government allocating money. In the meeting, the Chief Minister read out the projects sanctioned in Pathanapuram and their estimates. Ganesh Kumar did not attend today's meeting.
Ganesh earlier criticized that the government is ignoring even the ruling party MLAs and that there is no development in Pathanapuram. The Chief Minister did not attend the last LDF Legislature party meeting. Ganesh alleged that it was said that in the last budget each MLA will be given 20 development works and not a single on was granted. He said that nothing has happened other than placing flux boards saying KIIFB is the only solution.
