THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI has again demanded the removal of ADGP M R Ajith Kumar. The ADGP in charge of law and order should be removed from his post. The demand is in an article written by CPI national executive committee member Prakash Babu in the party mouthpiece.
We want to know why he met RSS leaders. He should say whether the meeting is official or personal. The article also said that Ajith Kumar has put the government in trouble.
His article said
Everyone is interested to know why the top police officer of the state secretly met the two RSS national leaders at a situation where there is no communal tension especially in Kerala where law and order prevails. It is the duty of the officer to say whether he has visited them for official or personal purposes.
The ADGP is bound to say whether the meeting was official or personal. He should at least inform the chief of police or the home department in writing. If he is not ready for that then he should be removed from the post.
An official who does not understand the people's government's stand will put the government in trouble. The ADGP had created such a situation. If action against Ajith is delayed, the LDF will lose its sheen. There will be doubt among the people so the action should not be prolonged. There is no need for an inquiry report to take action on this matter and such matter should be seen as a political issue.
