Accused in two cases registered by Forest Dept; 52-year-old man found shot dead 

KOZHIKODE: A 52-year-old man was found shot dead in Kodenchery in Kozhikode. The deceased has been identified as Kattileadathu Chandran. He was an accused in two cases registered by the Forest Department. Chandran had been missing for the last three days. It is suspected to be a case of suicide. Chandran's body was found in a stream adjacent to a compound in Vellaikkakudi in Pathippara at around 3 PM today.

An unlicensed gun was also found nearby. Police have reached the spot and conducted an investigation. A dog squad and fingerprint experts will also arrive at the scene for further examination.
