Man gives wife Rs 8 lakh monthly shopping allowance, bans her from doing work

WASHINGTON: If you are a woman wishing to get married, one of your wishes might be a husband who treats you like a princess. For Amirah Ibrahim, wife of American entrepreneur and businessman Arturo Pestana, this is nothing but reality. Arturo pays his wife a monthly shopping allowance of 8,000 (about Rs 8 lakhs). He considers his wife Amira Ibrahim as a princess. She is also banned from doing household chores.

Both of them got married in May 2023. A few months ago, the couple had a baby boy named Thiago. Arturo also forbids Amira from engaging in other businesses so that she can pay her entire attention to take care of Thiago.

Arturo met Amira at the age of 12. It was six years later that Amirah told Arturo about her love for him and got married.

The couple currently lives in a multi-million dollar mansion in Houston. They also have luxurious houses in places like New York, California and the Bahamas. Amirah Ibrahim was a businesswoman before her marriage. She was involved in businesses including selling second-hand fashion items.
